Why is the Book of Mormon important to me?

The Book of Mormon is a powerful spiritual witness of Christ and his plan of happiness for mankind. There are interests in this world that want to limit this kind of influence. Often they are successful in preventing people from exposure to the powerful good influences of the Book of Mormon by presenting ideas that make it seem silly, fictional, fraudulent and evil. For someone who is unfamiliar with the details, these accusations sound credible enough to be successful in their purpose.

It is the moral responsibility for those who really know to offer an accurate perspective of these things to those who wonder and seek for truth.
